In June 2022, our institution applied for an international award in the field of ecology and sustainable development, the Green Flag.

Following the instructions received from the Bureau for Education and after familiarizing ourselves with the Guidelines for implementing the international Eco-Schools program, an Eco Committee was formed within the institution.

The coordinator of the Eco Committee is preschool teacher Svetlana Vuksanović, and the members are: Director Jelena Perunović Samaradžić, Assistant Director Jadranka Gajić, Pedagogue Saša Gojačanin, preschool teachers: Davorka Bilafer, Snežana Kočović, Tanja Banaš, and Jelica Bijelić, as well as nurse Daliborka Pešikan.

On the occasion of the Ecological State Day, on September 20, 2024, a ceremonial award ceremony was held in the Parliament of Montenegro, where Green Flags and certificates were presented. Among the recipients of the Green Flag is our kindergarten, which successfully completed the accreditation process to achieve international Eco-School status.
