The Early Childhood and Preschool Education Strategy in Montenegro 2021-2025 envisions the definition, selection, and piloting of “Centers of Excellence.” These Centers of Excellence are places where knowledge, experiences, and best practices are exchanged among educators, all with the goal of improving the quality of work to foster the comprehensive early development of children.

These centers promote children’s socio-emotional development, provide opportunities for artistic and creative expression, and allow children to explore the world around them in line with their interests.

Through the Centers of Excellence, cooperation with families and the local community is strengthened.

This project includes 21 public preschool institutions in Montenegro. So far, our institution has visited the following preschools: JPU “Vukosava Ivanović Mašanović” from Bar, JPU “Dušo Basekić” from Bijelo Polje, JPU “Eko bajka” from Pljevlja, and JPU “Dragan Kovačević” from Nikšić.
